MISSION To improve and sustain the Lincoln Township community through a proactive group of volunteer citizens. OBJECTIVES Pursue Economic Development by soliciting and promoting new business for the area. Stimulate the Economy by supporting existing businesses and sponsoring local events. Implement Beautification Programs by enhancements in the downtown area, parks, road ends, lake access points, Hamlin Field and other public areas within the township Reference

1ST YEAR SUMMARY
April 2006- May 2007
WELCOME SIGNS- Three “Welcome to Lake George’ signs were placed on
the three major roads into town. Bertha Lake & Silver Lake signs are finished
and will be installed soon.

TRASH RECEPTACLES- New trash receptacles have been distributed in several areas.
CLEAR VISION AREA- The Clear Vision Area adjacent to the Township Hall has been transformed into a little park and was dedicated Memorial weekend after the Property Owner’s meeting. The park was named Citizen’s Park during the ribbon cutting ceremony since it is for all citizens to use. Last December the park was decorated with lights for the Christmas Holiday season.
DOWNTOWN LAKE GEORGE ENHANCEMENT PROJECT-
Working on obtaining a grant.
ROADSIDE PICK-UP- On May 12th volunteers picked up roadside trash on the three main roads coming into town. Bags and vests were provided by the C.C. Road Commission.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS- Looking to bring high-speed internet into the area.
TOWNSHIP HALL GRANT- Investigating applying for a grant to make improvements to the hall.
